I’ve always been interested in homes, long before I made real estate my career. Growing up, I watched and helped my Mum flip homes, and I was usually the person who couldn’t resist stopping at an open house just to see what was inside. Over the years, I saw some incredible homes, discovered neighbourhoods I might otherwise have missed, and came across a few projects that were probably better left untouched.
That interest eventually became my profession, but what I enjoy most about real estate isn’t simply buying and selling homes. It’s helping people understand their options and make decisions that are right for them.
I believe good real estate advice should be straightforward and practical. I’ll tell you what I think, explain why, and give you the information you need to make your own decision. Sometimes that means pointing out an opportunity. Other times, it means raising a concern or telling you when I think it makes sense to walk away.
I’m also actively involved with CREB, serving on committees focused on professional standards, fundraising and finance. Staying involved keeps me connected to what’s happening in Calgary real estate and gives me an opportunity to contribute to the profession beyond my own business.
